OVERCOMING LIMITS: THE VALUE OF HIGH-IMPACT COACHING

1024 576 Incubadora de Talento

Yesterday, the brilliant young talents of our program stepped completely out of their comfort zones during an intense High-Impact Coaching session led by Jorge Blanco.

Moving away from traditional theory, the workshop focused on pure experiential learning to tackle fear and self-imposed limits. The core dynamics included:

● Blind Trust: Blindfolded team exercises to foster absolute reliance and safety among colleagues.
● Emotional Management: Learning to channel nerves, overthinking, and the fear of change into actionable drive.
● Shattering Barriers: The physical and metaphorical challenge of breaking wooden boards with their bare hands to destroy limiting beliefs.

By facing their insecurities head-on, the participants discovered an inner strength they didn’t know they had. As highlighted during the session: “Knowing our fears is the fi rst indispensable step to overcoming them!”

A special thanks to Jorge Blanco for his incredible energy and guidance. We also want to recognize our strategic partners, STRADA and the University of Granada (UGR), for making this impactful project a reality.

The Skills Acceleration Program brings its participants together for a transformative day on group dynamics, self-awareness, and high performance.

Last Wednesday, the members of the Skills Acceleration Program experienced a key day for their professional development thanks to an immersive workshop focused on Teamwork. The session was exceptionally guided by Gema Campos, a renowned psychologist, PCC Executive and Systemic Coach, Change Manager, and HR Consultant.

During the meeting, attendees delved theoretically and practically into the fundamental pillars that transform a group of people into a high-performance team. The training took the renowned 5C model as its central axis:

Communication: The foundation to ensure mutual understanding.
Commitment: The engine that drives shared effort.
Confindence (Trust): The safe space that enables authenticity and unity.
Complementarity: The vision of diverse profi les as a true strength.
Coordination: The need to work in exact synchrony toward the common goal.

Beyond theoretical concepts, the workshop stood out for its practical approach. Through various group dynamics, participants had the opportunity to engage in a deep exercise of introspection and discover new facets of their peers. As highlighted during the day: “Understanding ourselves is the fi rst step to boosting the team!”

The organization wanted to give special recognition to Gema Campos for the energy and knowledge imparted while facilitating this growth session. Likewise, the role of the partners who make the program possible was highlighted. None of this would be a reality without the great strategic alliances that drive the project forward, especially the fundamental support of Strada and the University of Granada.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS WITH LUIS ORTEGA

Within the framework of the 10th Edition of the “Job Search and Acquisition Skills Improvement” program, organized by the Vice-Dean’s Office for Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FCCEE) together with the Talent Incubator, a fundamental session for the professional development of our students took place on March 3rd: “Effective Communication to Improve Your Employability.”

The session was led by Luis Ortega, a communication expert, who guided attendees through a theoretical and practical journey on how our communication skills can make the difference in a selection process and within the work environment.

Key Highlights of the Session:

  • The Duality of Communication: The session delved into the fact that projecting a solid professional image requires more than just caring for verbal language (what we say); it is essential to master non-verbal language (how we say it).
  • Participatory Dynamics: Far from being a purely theoretical talk, the session stood out for its interactive nature. Various practical dynamics were carried out designed to dissect the complete communicative process.
  • Real-world Application: Through these exercises, attendees experienced firsthand the barriers that arise from the moment a sender launches an idea until the receiver decodes it.

These activities served to raise awareness about the importance of active listening, message clarity, and the need to ensure information arrives without distortion—skills that are critical for teamwork and project management.

This activity reaffirms the commitment of the Talent Incubator and the University of Granada to providing their students with the Soft Skills most in demand by the current market.

This past Monday marked the start of the Digital Tech Bootcamp, an intensive program of excellence driven by the Talent Incubator of the University of Granada and the multinational T-Systems.

This initiative was established with a clear objective: to connect university talent with the reality of the labor market, providing specialized training and a tangible opportunity to join one of Europe’s leading technology companies.

Geared towards STEM profiles (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), the program serves as a high-value micro-certification. Thanks to the sponsorship of T-Systems, the digital services subsidiary of the Deutsche Telekom Group, selected participants gain access to training valued at €2,000 per person, entirely free of charge.

The curriculum is perfectly aligned with current sector demands. It stands out for its comprehensive approach, combining two fundamental pillars delivered through in-person sessions at both the Faculty of Economics and Business and the company’s facilities:

  • Advanced Digital Technologies: Practical training taught by active T-Systems professionals focused on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Programming.
  • Soft Skills: Dynamic and experiential sessions designed to boost key competencies such as leadership, emotional intelligence, teamwork, and effective communication.

Beyond academic training, the Bootcamp’s major appeal lies in its hiring commitment: T-Systems aims to hire at least 50% of the participants who successfully complete the program, with the possibility of increasing this figure to 100%depending on market needs.

From the Talent Incubator, we wish great success to all participants who began their training this week. You are facing a unique opportunity to launch a successful career path in today’s most high-growth digital niche.

THE CHALLENGE OF COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY WITH ALQUIMIA 3

Last Wednesday marked the successful conclusion of the workshop “The Challenge of Communicating Effectively,”led by Luis Eugenio Ortega Donoso. This seminar is a core component of the Competence Acceleration Program (PAC) (jointly promoted by Strada Global and the University of Granada), designed to boost the soft skills of high-potential students.

The workshop highlighted that the true impact of communication lies in emotional connection and presence, diving deep into four fundamental pillars:

  • Intensity and Volume: Modulating the voice as a tool to emphasize ideas and hold the audience’s attention.
  • Pacing and Tone: Controlling speed and intonation to convey confidence and make complex information easier to digest.
  • Body Language and Presence: Aligning gestures and posture with the verbal message to build trust and credibility.
  • Improvisation: Developing mental agility to adapt quickly to unexpected situations in fast-paced professional environments.

Mastering both verbal and non-verbal communication is the key engine for any professional project or idea to successfully take off. We continue driving talent!

Last Friday and Saturday, we hosted the intensive, tuition-free seminar “Leadership and Teamwork”, part of the Chair in Intrapreneurship and Innovation funded by Lactalis Puleva in collaboration with the Universidad de Granada (UGR) and integrated into our Talent Incubator.

Designed for students who have participated in the Chair’s activities and have been selected to undertake internships with the company, the seminar has, over the past three years, become a true catalyst for professional growth and preparation for positions of responsibility. It strengthens participants’ soft skills and, in particular, their capacity for innovation and effective teamwork.

The program was delivered by Ana Martín Moreno, a certified coach, and Lola Vidal, UGR professor and Co-Director of the Incubator. Together, they crafted an experience grounded in group coaching dynamics, fostering experiential learning, stronger team cohesion, and handson practice of new ways to lead and collaborate. We would like to recognize the daily commitment to the Chair from Lactalis by Ana Alejandra Jaén Rondan and Rosa Bergillos Hidalgo, as well as the continued involvement and support of Daniel Isart Ruiz, Pedro Marín García, Miguel García Cuesta, David Salliot, and the entire Puleva team. We also extend our gratitude to the more than thirty university professors who contribute to the Chair’s activities under the coordination of J. Alberto Aragón, Director of the Chair, with special thanks to Ruben Ordoñez, Luisa Delgado, Sandra Montalvo, and Lucía Torres Pérez for their involvement in organizing the activities with Puleva. Thank you all.

We remain committed to advancing purpose-driven talent, connecting university and industry to develop the innovative leaders who will make a difference.

LEARNING TO WORK AS A TEAM CAN BE BOTH POWERFUL AND GENUINELY FUN

1024 904 Incubadora de Talento

Last Friday, as part of the “Talento Mujer” program (“Women’s Talent Development Initiative”), we held the session “Teamwork: Learning Better Through Play,” led by
Alejandro Ortiz, professor at the University of Granada (UGR) and expert in management of human resources. Through a highly participative dynamic, students
experienced firsthand how trust, coordination, and shared leadership are built in practice.

“Talento Mujer” is an initiative organized by the Chair in Talent & Leadership, promoted by Strada Global and UGR within the framework of the Talent Incubator. Participants are outstanding women in their final year of STEM degrees who receive training in softskills and later complete an internship period at Strada. The program is especially meaningful during the week in which we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in
Science.

The women participating in this program impress us every day. We would also like to recognize the work of Pilar Guillén, who coordinates Strada’s collaboration with the Chair, as well as the leadership and continued support of José Carlos Díaz and Francisco Quesada, key figures in the Strada–UGR partnership.
Lola Vidal and Alberto Aragón, UGR professors and directors of the Chair and our Talent Incubator, emphasized that the program is part of the joint work of more than 30 UGR faculty members actively collaborating with the Chair. Special thanks to Sandra Montalvo, whose contribution to the development of Talento Mujer has been particularly significant.

We continue developing talent.
