This May 26th, the Faculty of Economics and Business successfully hosted the seminar “Digital Management Systems in Companies: Success Stories”. This event is part of the T-Systems Connection initiative, which aims to bring the corporate ecosystem closer to classrooms and allow students to learn directly from innovation leaders.

The event featured the participation of outstanding professionals from the technological and academic sectors, including Luis Francisco Pérez Molina, SAP Presales Lead at T-Systems Iberia; Valentina Corio, PMO and Pre Sales at T-Systems Iberia; and Eulogio Cordón Pozo, Professor at the University of Granada. During the session, the speakers broke down how large corporations use digital systems to optimize their processes, providing a practical and grounded view of the current market.

One of the highlights of the day was the reflection on what companies are truly looking for in the new talent joining the market. The experts agreed that, although technical knowledge is essential to master the digital ecosystem, the true differentiating factor lies in soft skills and the professional’s mindset.
In this regard, four fundamental pillars for leading digital transformation were defined:

● Understanding the business model: Technology must always be aligned with the strategic objectives of the company; it is vital to understand the “why” of the processes beyond the use of specific tools.
● Proactive attitude and a desire to add value: Highlighted during the session as the most important quality for standing out in any corporate environment.
● Adaptability to change: An essential capability in a technological sector that evolves at a breakneck pace.
● Constant training: Learning does not end at the university; rather, it is the foundation for maintaining competitiveness throughout a professional career.

With the hosting of this seminar, the Talent Incubator reaffirms its commitment to acting as a bridge between academic theory and business practice. By providing students with these tools and perspectives, the preparation of highly qualified profiles is consolidated, ready to make the leap into the corporate world with confidence and strategic vision.

Thanks to T-Systems Iberia, our excellent speakers, and all the attendees for making this seminar a resounding success. Your involvement and proactive attitude are the best example of what it means to build bridges between the university and the business world. We keep growing together!

The Talent Incubator of the University of Granada has enthusiastically celebrated the closing ceremony of the 1st Edition of the Digital Tech Bootcamp. This innovative immersive program, developed in collaboration with T-Systems, has come to an end, leaving outstanding results and marking a milestone in the technological and skills training of university students in Granada.

The graduation event brought together the participating students, teaching staff, and corporate representatives for a day where young talent and innovation were the true protagonists.

If anything has characterized this first edition of the Digital Tech Bootcamp, it has been its comprehensive approach. The program has not only provided technical knowledge but has also placed a special focus on the development of the interpersonal skills demanded by large companies.

During the interviews conducted on the closing day, the students themselves highlighted the enormous value of this practical experience. “I take away many soft skills such as leadership, communication, and team management,” noted Ana, one of the participants, agreeing with her peers on the importance of having improved “great communication and improvisation skills.”

For the vast majority of these young people, who are in the final stretch of their academic journey, the bootcamp has been a true professional springboard.
As several of the graduates pointed out, the program has given them the opportunity to “experience the work environment a bit for the first time and have a first opportunity within a company.” The ability to learn to work in a team and face real challenges has been valued as “quite an important opportunity for us, since we are finishing our studies.”

The corporate presence of T-Systems during the closing ceremony reaffirms the success of public-private collaboration in training new generations. Under the pillars of innovation, digitalization, and sustainability, the Talent Incubator of the University of Granada consolidates its commitment to continue training the leaders of tomorrow, connecting academic potential with the top-tier business sector.

From the organization, we congratulate this entire fi rst cohort of graduates for their effort, professionalism, and camaraderie. The digital future is in your hands!

The development and success of this edition would not have been possible without institutional and corporate support. We dedicate a special thank you to our partner, Strada Global. The company’s vision and backing have been fundamental, proving to be the perfect ally in this shared mission to boost talent, enhance skills, and prepare the professionals of tomorrow.
