Participants of the Digital Tech Bootcamp program, promoted by UGR and T-Systems, have tackled an immersive dynamic during their latest soft skills workshop with Jorge Blanco, proving that the tech sector requires top human talent.

Within the demanding curriculum of the Digital Tech Bootcamp, it’s not all algorithms and code. The program’s students recently participated in the Teamwork Skills Workshop, a key session designed to enhance their transversal competencies and prepare them for the realities of the job market.

During the session, the students—who come from various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields—temporarily set aside their screens to take on the “labyrinth” dynamic. This practical, experiential exercise required them to coordinate, communicate effectively, and make collective decisions to overcome a shared challenge, simulating the daily hurdles they will face in their future workplaces.

This session perfectly refl ects the comprehensive approach of the program organized by the University of Granada’s Talent Incubator and the multinational tech company T-Systems. While mastering advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence or Data Science is essential to stand out in today’s landscape, leading companies are also looking for profiles that excel in soft skills, such as:

● Leadership and proactivity in agile problem-solving.
● Emotional intelligence to manage stressful and uncertain situations.
● Assertive communication to achieve maximum cohesion and efficiency within a team.
