The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Granada hosted a key session last Monday dedicated to
youth employability, featuring strategic tools, scholarships, and success stories to bridge the gap between academia and
the labor market.

The young talent of Granada has once again proven to be one of the city’s most powerful assets. In a strategic
collaboration between the Incubadora de Talento (University of Granada), the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi), the
Tour del Talento, and the UGR, the Granada Talent Forum took place last Monday—an event specifically designed to
equip students with the 21st-century skills demanded by today’s world.

The event was established with the clear goal of narrowing the divide between academic life and the corporate
environment. Throughout the day, attendees gained first-hand knowledge of the various programs, scholarships, and
grants offered by the Princess of Girona Foundation to jumpstart their professional journeys, as well as the mentorship
initiatives led by the Incubadora itself.

One of the central moments of the day was the presentation by J. Alberto Aragón Correa, Professor at the UGR and
Co-Director of the Incubadora de Talento. During his speech, Aragón-Correa emphasized that success in today’s job
market is not a matter of chance, but of strategic preparation.

The forum was structured around several fundamental pillars that generated signifi cant interest among the students:

  1. Successful Career Stories: First-person accounts from professionals who shared their triumphs and challenges during the transition from university to the workplace.
  2. Practical Tools: Sessions focused on developing high-impact competencies and personal branding.
  3. Information on Programs and Grants: A detailed review of current FPdGi calls that provide young people with access to elite training and international internships.
  4. Real Networking: A meeting space where students and professionals exchanged visions and built valuable professional connections.

With this event, the Incubadora de Talento reinforces its mission as a catalyst for opportunities for University of Granada students. The Talent Forum has not only served to inspire hundreds of young people but also to consolidate an institutional collaboration network that positions Granada as a benchmark for youth leadership development.
