Hackathon for Innovation Lactalis Puleva – UGR

Developing the most accurate possible solutions to real-world challenges, within certain constraints and a limited time frame, has traditionally been the goal of “hackathons.” While hackathons originated as technology-focused events (primarily in the field of programming), the Lactalis Puleva – University of Granada Chair of Intrapreneurship and Innovation has created this innovative program that incorporates some traditional features of hackathons and adapts them to address challenges that require practical and collaborative solutions in the fields of organization and management.

Purpose of the Program

In recent years, companies around the world have emphasized the importance of having people within their organizations who possess skills related to innovation, creativity, teamwork, planning, and the efficient management of time and resources. However, university students have very limited opportunities to develop these skills through their academic journey.

The LP-UGR Innovation Hackathon, Lactalis Puleva – University of Granada, aims to become a reference forum to promote the opportunity for university students to train fundamental skills in the professional field while having an outstanding opportunity to interact with experts and executives and learn by proposing innovative and realistic solutions while working in collaboration with others. Therefore, the LP–UGR Innovation Hackathon program is aimed at providing a highly practical and experiential training to people who are pursuing university studies and are interested in experiencing a realistic management experience in the business world and boosting their professional career.

You can apply to enroll in this program while studying any undergraduate or postgraduate degree if you are excited about the possibility of participating in an innovative learning project through direct contact with a professional challenge. Those who complete this intensive program will be enhancing their professional profile through the development of some of the most important skills for advancement and professional success in the 21st century.
