L CORPORATE GENERATION

The Talent Incubator of the University of Granada, in collaboration with Leroy Merlin, offers a completely free program for skills training and career development, aimed at individuals with potential to become future managers in various departments located at the headquarters of the multinational company Leroy Merlin.

Those who complete the L CORPORATE GENERATION program will be eligible for one of the 15 permanent contracts reserved for this program, starting in September 2025, and associated with a personalized career plan to be developed at the Madrid headquarters.

Objective of the Program

Connecting university students with potential to exciting and suitable career paths by offering high-level training in managerial skills and providing an opportunity to start a professional career with a permanent employment contract, aimed at high-level professional positions at the company’s headquarters in Madrid.

Who can participate

Individuals in their final year of undergraduate or master’s studies, with education related to both technical, scientific, and management profiles, with a particular interest in:

  • Dual degrees in Business Administration and Law, Business Administration with Computer Science, Business Administration with Engineering, Finance and Accounting, and Economics.

  • Computer Science, Computer Science with Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering.

  • Mathematics, Statistics, and Environmental Studies.

Where the career plan is developed

The contracts offered are aimed at developing a career plan at Leroy Merlin’s headquarters in Madrid, where the company’s departments that manage its activities nationwide are located. Highly qualified academic and technical individuals are needed, capable of collaborating with all these processes.

Activities and Schedule

The number of spots in the program is limited. Interested individuals must pre-register and be accepted. To do so, they will receive an email or a call from the Talent Incubator.

PART 1. PRE-REGISTRATION: From March 1st to April 7th, 2025

PART 2. INTRODUCTORY EVENT: April 24th (afternoon session)

The selected individuals from the pre-registrations will be able to participate in a dynamic activity where they will learn how the multinational company Leroy Merlin operates, what profiles they are looking for to become future managers, and take part in a real selection process with various activities. The event is designed to be a highly engaging learning experience. All participants will receive a completely free certificate of attendance. The activities will help determine who progresses to the next steps.

PART 3. INTENSIVE PROGRAM IN MANAGERIAL SKILLS: May 16th (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM) and May 17th (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Individuals with potential and interest will be invited to participate in an in-person intensive program focused on managerial and high-level professional skills. You will learn in a completely practical way to improve core skills for your professional career, such as communication, leadership, teamwork, decision-making, among others. THE PROGRAM IS MANDATORY to proceed to the next phases. The training is completely free, will take place in exclusive facilities, and will include meals. The training methodology is based on group coaching through experiences. You will love it.

PART 4. MENTORING AND RECRUITMENT: June-July

All participants in the skills program will be invited to meetings with professionals and managers from the company, who will offer their insights and recommendations. Company facility visits will also be organized. All interested individuals will have the opportunity to sign their permanent employment contract during this period, allowing them to join the company immediately after the summer holidays.

PART 5. PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY: September 2025

The start of the professional experience phase with a permanent employment contract and a personalized career plan. Participants will join high-potential positions in various departments at Leroy Merlin’s headquarters in Madrid.

Opportunity to participate in a professional selection experience with real methodologies in a dynamic and engaging format. Certification of participation for all selected individuals.

High-Performance Training in Managerial Skills

Intensive training in “soft skills” and managerial skills, where you will learn in a completely practical way through experiential seminars to improve core skills for your professional career.

Individual and Group Coaching and Mentoring

Participation in mentoring sessions with company executives and professionals, where you will receive guidance and valuable advice for your professional career. Additionally, group coaching sessions will be included in the training program, offering learning opportunities typically reserved for senior management.

Professional Immersion

Visit to Leroy Merlin’s headquarters, allowing students to see the company’s facilities firsthand, experience the work environment live, and meet part of the team at the company’s Granada office.

Networking Time

Planned times for participants to get to know each other better, exchange opinions, and build relationships. Additionally, the program offers some meals, breakfasts, and coffees for free, serving as a support network for a successful professional integration.

Permanent Contract and Career Plan

A professional career plan that begins with a permanent contract to join Leroy Merlin. The integration will take place at Leroy Merlin’s headquarters in Madrid.

Program Costs

The program is COMPLETELY FREE for the students who are ultimately selected to participate. The cost of the program is 2,600 euros per person, fully sponsored by Leroy Merlin in collaboration with the University of Granada. Additionally, selected individuals will receive their corresponding remuneration as soon as they begin their professional experience.
